Founder-owned. Senior-led. Built on Microsoft since 2008.
IMP0WER is a Microsoft consultancy for organizations outgrowing their tools. We assess, modernize, govern, and operate Microsoft-powered business systems — Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Copilot, and AI agents — with enterprise discipline at boutique scale. And we tell you what you actually need, even when that's less than you asked for.
We are founder-owned and family-owned, founded in 2020 in Needham, Massachusetts. No private-equity roll-up, no license quotas, no junior bench billed as seniors. That independence is not a slogan; it's the reason our recommendations can be blunt.

Stephen M. Curry — Principal Managing Partner
AI & Microsoft Power Platform Strategist
Stephen has delivered Microsoft platforms since 2008 — from statewide SharePoint deployments for Virginia government agencies, to enterprise SharePoint at Airbus Americas and the U.S. Marine Corps (contract), to directing Microsoft 365 and Power Platform adoption at Fortune-100 retailer TJX, to senior consulting at Perficient. He founded IMP0WER in 2020 to deliver that enterprise discipline at boutique scale.
Track record:
Much of that career was spent delivering through leading consulting firms, which is exactly why IMP0WER exists. Stephen watched how enterprise consulting actually works from the inside: strong methodology diluted by handoffs, senior people selling and junior people delivering, recommendations shaped by what the firm needed to sell that quarter. IMP0WER keeps the discipline and drops the rest.
Three patterns, told as patterns
We don't publish borrowed logos, and we don't dress up work our founder did on someone else's contract as an IMP0WER case study. What we can show is how he works when the stakes are real. These three are recent, and they are the shape of most engagements we take on.
From the founder's delivery record
The assessment that became the program
A fixed-fee assessment of an uninventoried SharePoint estate produced the roadmap a utility PMO could take to its leadership, and the roadmap became the implementation program.

The dashboard project we refused to start
A health system wanted two enterprise dashboards; discovery showed the metrics had no shared definitions yet, so the work was re-staged into a fixed-fee discovery phase instead of a build.

The migration pilot that replaced a promise
A university division's SharePoint Server exit had a date before anyone had measured the estate; an instrumented pilot wave replaced the promise with a schedule the evidence supported.

Two beliefs, both earned the hard way.
First: the platforms are not the problem. Power Platform and SharePoint are capable of running serious business operations — the founder spent years proving that inside Fortune-100 retail, aerospace, and government. What fails is everything around the tools: no ownership, no environments, no lifecycle, no standard for "done." So we built a firm around governance as the enabler, not the roadblock — the IMP0WER GRID is that idea, operationalized.
Second: honesty is a competitive strategy, not a virtue signal. We are a boutique, and we say so. We publish our methodology instead of gating it. We publish assessment prices instead of hiding them. We don't have a wall of borrowed client logos, and we won't invent one — when we cite experience with TJX, Airbus, the Marine Corps, or Virginia state agencies, that is our founder's delivery record, clearly labeled as such, not an IMP0WER client roster. Proof, the honest way.
How we're built
Founder-owned.
A family-owned firm. Nobody upstream is optimizing us for a resale multiple, and no vendor relationship dictates what we recommend.
Senior-led delivery.
A founder leads every engagement — scopes it, architects it, and stays accountable for it. The IMP0WER delivery team extends us, and your proposal shows who does what at what rate. We never sell you a senior and staff you a junior.
Conflict-free advice.
Our recommendations are never driven by license quotas. If the right answer is a smaller license, a simpler tool, or no project at all, that's the answer you'll get.
Community and ecosystem.
Member, Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, with a verified listing in Microsoft's partner directory. That is membership, not a Solutions Partner designation; we'd rather you hear the distinction from us. Active in the New England Power Platform community.
What working with us feels like
We open with diagnosis, not a proposal. We'll gladly spend 30 minutes telling you whether and how we can help; the moment work produces artifacts — inventories, findings, architecture, roadmaps — it's a fixed-price assessment. Everything we build is measured against the Ø Standard, our published bar for production-ready: named owners, no personal credentials, auditable access, a real deployment path, documentation a stranger could operate from, monitoring, and a support path after go-live. And when the work is done, we'd rather leave you self-sufficient than dependent; enablement is built into every engagement, because a client who understands their platform is a better reference than one who has to keep calling us.

What we believe
A short list, and we mean every line:
- Governance is the enabler, not the roadblock. You don't ban electricity; you build a grid. Teams move faster when everyone knows where they may build and who owns it after.
- The content layer and the app layer are one problem. Apps, flows, and agents all stand on SharePoint and Dataverse content and permissions. Fixing one layer without the other hands you the seam.
- Autonomy should rise only as grounding rises. The rule behind everything we do with AI agents — each rung of capability has to be earned by the governance underneath it.
- Diagnosis before prescription. A recommendation is only as good as the evidence gathered before it — which is why engagements here start with an assessment instead of a pitch.
- Small firm, no small print. What we are, who does the work, and what it costs are stated plainly — because trust is the only marketing that compounds.
